Meet Our Crew
Meghan Morris, President
I'm Meghan Morris, I am President of BWI Lansing and a VBE for the group. I was born and raised in Grand Ledge. I have a bachelors of science in Environmental Biology/Zoology from Michigan State. I worked as a wetlands and wildlife biologist for a civil engineering firm until I had my oldest daughter 5 years ago. I now stay at home with my girls. My husband is a civil engineer for a firm in Okemos. When I'm not helping BWI, I also am on the PTL at my daughter's school, I love knitting and reading and I am a huge sports fan, especially Michigan State football and basketball and the Detroit Tigers.
We have three beautiful little girls. Isla is 5, Annalise is 3 and Azalea is 1. I started wearing Isla in a SSC at about 3 months old. I then attended my first Babywearers meeting where Jaime turned me on to wrapping and I haven't looked back. I have been wearing a baby ever since. I'm so thankful to be a part of this amazing group of women and love spreading the Babywearing love with all of you!
My name is Jessi Thomas and I live in Portland, MI with my husband, Dave, my two stepdaughters, and our two littles. (Cameryn, 9, Addyson, 8, Logan, 3, and Savannah, 2 months) Aside from my position as Director of Community Outreach for BWI of Lansing, I also volunteer as a La Leche League leader for the Delta-Waverly group here in Lansing. I love to learn new things so, in all my spare time (ha!), you can often find me scouring Pinterest for tasty new recipes, fun crochet patterns, or sewing tutorials.
